Acceptance of terms

By creating an account and using Calyx, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Calyx is — and isn't

Important wellness disclaimer

Calyx is a wellness support application, NOT a medical device, diagnostic tool, or healthcare service. The information, summaries, and recommendations provided by Calyx are for general wellness and informational purposes only.

Calyx does NOT:

  • Diagnose medical conditions
  • Provide medical advice
  • Prescribe or recommend treatments
  • Replace professional healthcare

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns, diagnosis, and treatment decisions.

Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be 18 or older to use Calyx. One account per person. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Subscription and billing

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months. Pricing may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Your data

You own your wellness data. We process it to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to access other users' data. You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding.

Limitation of liability

Calyx is provided "as is." We are not liable for wellness outcomes, health decisions made based on app content, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes by email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
